We believe that what makes a golf course great is subjective, and everybody is correct.
Do you favor the ocean views of Pebble Beach? The pot bunkers and history of Royal Dornoch? The opulence and waterfalls of the Wynn?
Guess what? You’re right.
We believe that golf doesn’t have to be a hassle.
Running to the first tee in a panic and frustrating your friends? Stop it. We can arrange transportation to get you there in plenty of time.
Worrying about booking all those tee times and whether that one course is open to visitors on Tuesdays or Wednesdays? Leave it to us.
Your round is over, it’s late and you’re starving. Luckily, we’ve booked your dinner already and it’s going to be delicious.
We can even give you a spreadsheet to help you sort out shared costs, and other little tricks just to make life easier. Isn’t that sort of the whole point?
WHAT WE LIVE
We believe that divots in the fairway are someone else’s problem, not yours. The idea here is to have fun.
In fact, we wholeheartedly subscribe to the philosophy that golf is supposed to be fun. (Unless, of course, you are in elite competition – in which case, can we get some golf tips from you?)
Dogs on the course? Absolutely. Pedestrians? Of course - but please, protect yourselves - we’re not really in control of our golf balls.
While we’re at it … the correct tee to play from is the tee you WANT to play from. Just play fast and don’t hold anyone else up. If you start making too many birdies and start having too much fun? Move back. (Credit: DJ Pie from No Laying Up.)
We believe that a golf trip doesn’t just have to be about golf.
Listen, we’ve been there. There’s ALWAYS another golf course that is so, so tempting. We’ve seen all the lists, the YouTube videos - it’s so easy to add another course.
But … extra golf adds up. Especially as we get older.
Also, it turns out that golf courses can be close to some other really fun spots like distilleries, museums, beaches or even just great local towns to spend a day walking around.
So, if you want to book a trip the Southwest of Ireland with us, just know we’re going to at least talk about the Cliffs of Moher (right).
